Bushcraft Breakfast of Bacon and Coffee

In this video I cook up a bushcraft breakfast of bacon and coffee. Using my bushcraft knife i create a broiler from the natural material around me. Whilst at the bushcraft base camp I gather Hazel and natural cordage (spruce cordage) to make this campcraft grill to be used over the camp fire.

The primitive shelter / buhscraft shelter has is a great place to practice bushcraft skills and learn about the natural environment around me.

I am still to make a primitive container so i mix primitive skills with bushcraft gear to enjoy a cup off coffee in the BCB crusader 2 mug.

Enjoying the rest of my time chatting around the camp fire with Manse from the Wilderness Pioneers.

Flint Knapping on a Bushcraft Wildcamp Overnight

In this video I meet up with the staff members from the Wilderness Pionners, every couple of months the Wilderness Pioneers Instructors get together to practice bushcraft skills and learn new ones. For some this was the first time knapping and other it was a chance to practice and share techniques.

I have not done a large amount of flint knapping, but was taken through creating a flint hand axe by Klint Janulis, host of Channel 5 10000BC program.

We spent some time going through flint knapping 101 and the theory behind a knapping stone tools and there uses.

After practicing some bushcraft and primitive skills we enjoyed the night around the camp fire and what turned out to to be a great bushcraft camp. The following morning was started with a bushcraft breakfast of a good old full English fry up on the camp fire.
